HLSP manages the contract for UK Department for International
Development's
Health Resource Centre (HRC)
› .

The DFID Health Resource Centre is an international
consortium funded by DFID to provide top quality advice and
expertise in public health and health systems in low and middle
income countries. In August 2005, the previously separate health
and health systems resource centres merged into a single Health
Resource Centre that brings together the same array of
public-health and health-systems knowledge and expertise.
The HRC provides access to technical assistance and information in
support of pro-poor health policies as well as health systems,
service delivery and public health topics and programmes.
The HRC is managed by a core team of health specialists, health
systems specialists and administrative staff based in HLSP's London
offices. The HRC draws on the expertise and resources of its
consortium partners, working with a worldwide network of national
and international collaborating agencies and individuals.
