Programme and project management

Project Work in South Africa HLSP has built a reputation for managing large scale projects world-wide
HLSP has long been a respected service provider with the ability to mobilise and implement contracts quickly and efficiently. Our technical and financial capacity enables us to manage large and complex programmes, often with a variety of sub contracts and a mix of short and long term inputs.

Over the last two decades, HLSP has accrued extensive experience of contracting and contract management. We are experienced in procuring and monitoring technical assistance and commodities by international competitive bidding, including overseas procurement through different contracting mechanisms.

Through projects such as DFID’s Small Partnership Scheme in Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and Moldova, HLSP has gained a wide knowledge of establishing and managing programmes of small grants to civil society organisations.

In Zambia, HLSP is leading a partnership of four organisations to implement the DFID-supported contract Strengthening the AIDS Support Programme. An important component of this has been the need to strengthen national and civil society responses to HIV and AIDS.
