HLSP, (the Health Unit of Mott MacDonald) working in association
with the Burnet Institute, managing contractor the AusAID
China-Australia Health and HIV/AIDS Facility (CAHHF), is seeking
expressions of interest in the position of
Chinese-English
Translator. This position will be based in Beijing.
CAHHF is a joint China-Australia development cooperation initiative
that aims to develop the capacity of China’s health system, ability
to respond to emerging infections and control HIV infection.
Major responsibility:
- Assist short-term international consultants in communication
with Chinese counterparts;
- Translation of relevant documents and reports;
- Interpretation for trainings/workshops/field
visits;
- And other temporary tasks if necessary.
Position requirements:
- - Bachelor’s degree or above, fluent in English speaking and
writing (English Major would be preferred);
- - At least 2-year experience on health related
translation;
- - Computer skills, be able to use Office software, such as
Word, Excel and PowerPoint, etc.
- - Good team work;
- - Be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, or even
overtime.
- - Good communication skills, and devotion to public
health.
